Related terms, not a generator
Find LSI Keywords
People still search “find LSI keywords” when they want related terms and entities. Google does not expose a public LSI API. This page is the method: related searches, Search Console queries, co-occurring words on ranking pages, and the entities AI answers actually name.
Google does not ship an LSI API
The query is real. The public endpoint is not. Use the sources Google and the ranking pages already show you.
LSI is a folk term now
Latent Semantic Indexing is a 1980s information-retrieval technique. Google has been clear it is not a public ranking API you can query. The search still means: which related words and entities belong on this page.
Related terms still matter
Pages that only repeat the head term read thin. Related queries, modifiers, and named entities help search and answer engines see what the page is actually about.
A generator is not the method
A box that dumps synonyms is a word list. Finding LSI keywords is research: what Google already groups, what you already get impressions for, and what ranking pages and AI answers keep naming.
How to find LSI keywords
Four passes. No form. No paid keyword API on this page.
Read Google’s related searches and People Also Ask
Search the head term. The related-search row and People Also Ask questions are Google showing neighboring intent in public. Copy the phrases that a real page should answer, not every autocomplete fragment.
Export queries from Search Console
In Google Search Console, open the page or query report and export the queries that already earn impressions. Those are live LSI-shaped terms for your site: wording Google already associates with you, including the ones you never targeted on purpose.
Harvest co-occurring terms on ranking pages
Open the pages that already rank. Note the nouns, comparisons, and section labels that keep showing up alongside the head term. That list is closer to “LSI keywords” than a thesaurus dump, because it is what the current results treat as part of the topic.
Collect entities for AI answers
Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity the buying question and write down the brands, product types, and criteria they name. Those entities are what answer engines retrieve. Cover them on the page if they are true for you; do not invent them.
What each source is for
Do not paste every related word into the article. Assign each source a job.
| Source | What it gives you | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Related searches / People Also Ask | Neighboring queries Google already groups with the head term | H2s, FAQ questions, and modifiers the page should actually answer |
| Search Console query report | Queries that already impress or click your URLs | Gaps you can cover on the existing page instead of inventing new keywords |
| Co-occurring terms on ranking pages | Words and entities the current results treat as part of the topic | Outline completeness — what a thin page is missing |
| AI answer entities | Names and criteria models cite when they answer the question | Citability: make the page a source, not a synonym list |
Then expand and cluster — do not generate
When you want a wider related-term list from one seed, use the keyword research tool. It is the live Rankealo surface for related ideas. This guide does not replace it with a second LSI toy.
Cluster before you write. Related terms that share one intent belong on one URL, not ten near-duplicate pages.
The short loop
- Collect related searches, GSC queries, and ranking-page nouns.
- Add entities AI answers already name for the buying question.
- Expand the seed in keyword research if the list is still thin.
- Cluster, then write one complete page per intent.
Keep going from related terms
Related keyword ideas
Expand one seed into related and People Also Search For ideas. Use it after the method above, not instead of it.
