Quickstart
Go from a new domain to one live article in four steps. This is the minimum path — you can deepen setup (GSC, brand voice, keyword pool) after the first publish.
Before you start#
- A Rankealo account with at least one domain onboarded.
- Admin access to your CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, etc.) — see Publishing integrations.
- Your site URL and basic brand info filled in during onboarding (Rankealo uses these when writing).
Four steps to your first live article#
- 1
Connect your CMS
- 2
Open a planned article
Rankealo builds a keyword-driven content calendar after onboarding. Open Monthly calendar (
/monthly-calendar) or Articles (/articles) and pick a planned slot.If nothing is scheduled yet, wait for the content plan to finish generating or add a keyword from the keyword pool and schedule it manually.
- 3
Generate and review
Trigger generation for the article. Rankealo researches the keyword, drafts the post in your brand voice, and runs it through the publish gate.
If the gate shows needs review, read the blockers in the article view and edit or regenerate before publishing. Articles marked ready can publish immediately.
- 4
Publish and confirm
Click Publish. Rankealo pushes title, content, meta description, slug, featured image, and tags to your CMS, stores the live URL and
cms_post_id, and marks the article published.Open the published URL on your site to confirm formatting and metadata look correct.
What to set up next#
- Connect Google Search Console in the app — unlocks performance data, opportunities, and article improvements.
- Open Content settings (
/content-settings) — refine brand voice, guidelines, and competitor context. - Track AI visibility under AI monitoring — see whether answer engines mention your brand.
- Enable autopublish in settings if you want Rankealo to publish ready articles on a daily schedule without manual clicks.
Paid plans required for publishing
Manual publish and write-scoped API keys require an active paid subscription for the domain. Generation and planning may be available earlier depending on your plan — see Plans & billing.Still stuck? Contact support
